As a young boy I wanted to be a writer & photographer, and travel the world. In my 20’s I wanted to make a lot of money and have things. In my 30’s I wanted to have a house, dog, wife, kids, steady job, commute, and things. Now, in my 40’s I want to be a writer, photographer, travel the world, and make an impact in some small way. I realize now the wisdom of youth is the wisdom of age. The wants of the decades between were identity centric, not soul fulfilling.
You’re never too old to pursue the dreams of your youth. It’s never too late to change your mind. I should have listened to the young boy, I think I will now.
