I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe God, or the Universe, conspires to send you messages if you open your eyes and mind to see them. Last night, when visiting friends, I came upon a wooden plaque with 1 Corinthians 13:13 written on it about Faith, Hope, and Love. This morning, the first image I saw when opening my computer was a post by my brother picturing a shirt that stated the same; Faith, Hope, Love. And the greatest of these is Love.
We can each draw our own conclusions to events like this. But, for me, the least I can do is pause for a moment and reflect on the words that have fallen before me.
Faith, Hope, & Love
Have Faith in life, people, and all it’s rainbows,
Out of darkness and the storm beauty grows.
Pause for a moment each day and reflect,
No one, including you, is ever perfect.
Hold Hope in your heart and hand,
It’ll help you believe for what you stand.
Life has in store for you what’s best,
Hope gives you the courage to endure each test.
Love is profoundly tender, passionate affection,
It’s the source of all life and connection.
Love gives purpose and meaning to each day,
Share it with others, be less guarded of what you say.
And the greatest of these is Love,
Without, nothing exists arranged in words above.
